Play 9 - Score 36, Event 2 and another player completes the course!
Event 2 welcomed another 5 new participants joining us for their first ever event. We congratulate 9 players who achieved par 36 or better and have advanced to the next level for Event 3.
Coaches Alan Watt, Thomas Bell and Mike McNally were out on the course to spend time with participants and provide some helpful coaching tips.
Huge congratulations to Richard Hook who has played in an impressive 7 events and passed level 5 on this occassion, completing the Templar Course! Richard is a dedicated player not only within these events but with his own practice and also coaching with Thomas Bell. It’s fantastic to see the results on paper. Richard will progress to the main course when we take Play 9 to the next level at Swanston.
Shout out to Marie who just completed the beginner 3-Week Accelerator course with coach Alan Watt last week. Marie joined us for her first event and won the Lowest Adult Score with a brilliant 29 (-7 under par). Talk about a strong debut! Marie will progress to level 2 (50 yards) at her next event. Congratulations and great to see the coaching paying off!
Another very close Closest to the Pin competition for Event 2! Joining us for her first event, Elaine Turkington just pipped Evelyn Dunton to the pin! Very impressive shots for both first timers. Well done Elaine!
Huge congratulations to Brodie Ewen for winning the Lowest Junior Score (U18) at his first event with a score of 34 (-2 under par).
Hazel Rae & Tatjana Evans MacLeod smashed the Lowest Team Score with an average of 33, a whole 2 shots clear of the next team! Well done ladies!
