Terms & Conditions for Swanston Golf Academy

1. Who your contract is with

Golf lessons at Swanston Golf Academy are delivered by independent, self-employed coaches. Your contract is with the coach you book with, and most coaches take their own bookings and payments.

Swanston Golf Academy Ltd runs the academy, the coaching studio and this website. Some bookings are taken through Swanston Golf Academy's own booking system, for example while a coach moves their existing clients to their own system. For those bookings, Swanston Golf Academy Ltd collects payment on the coach's behalf as their booking agent. Your contract is still with the coach.

VAT is not charged on coaching unless your booking page states otherwise.

2. Golf Lesson Cancellation Policy

Golf lessons, assessments and Beginner Introduction to Golf appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time are subject to a cancellation fee of the full price of that appointment.

We ask for this notice out of respect for your coach's time and the limited availability of lesson slots.

3. Extreme Weather Policy

Lessons take place in a covered coaching studio or driving range, protecting you from most weather conditions.

In the event of extreme weather (e.g. strong winds blowing heavy rain, sleet or snow into the studio or driving range), your lesson may be cancelled and rescheduled. If so, you will be notified via text and email.

4. Rescheduling an Appointment

You may reschedule an appointment (via your confirmation email) up to 48 hours in advance. Appointments rescheduled within 48 hours are subject to the full cancellation fee.

5. Cancelling an Appointment

Appointments can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance via the confirmation email. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will not be refunded.

6. Coaching Plans

Monthly Coaching Plan: billed monthly with no long-term contract. You can cancel anytime. Each month's lesson must be booked, for any future date, before that month ends to be secured. Payments already taken are non-refundable.

3-Month Coaching Plan: paid in full upfront and non-refundable. Your 3 lessons are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

6-Month Coaching Plan: paid in full upfront and non-refundable. Your 6 lessons are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

12-Month Coaching Plan: paid in full upfront and non-refundable. Your 12 lessons are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.

You are free to schedule your sessions at a time that suits you, up to 180 days in advance.

Prices are shown when you book.

7. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are sold by the coach named on the voucher. They are non-refundable, valid for 12 months from purchase, and can only be used with that coach.

8. Refund Policy

Full refunds are available for appointments cancelled more than 48 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours are non-refundable and may be charged at full price.

Refunds are issued by whoever took your payment: your coach, or Swanston Golf Academy Ltd where it took payment as your coach's agent. Contact your coach using the details in your confirmation email, or email info@swanstongolfacademy.com and we'll pass your request on.
