Well done to everyone for embracing the foggy conditions at Event 5 of Play 9 - Score 36: Sponsored by Caley Golf.
Event 5 included 19 players, 3 of them being new Play-9ers! Well done to the 7 individuals who achieved par 36 or better and have advanced to the next level.
Out on the course providing some coaching were Alan Watt and Mike McNally. Alan saw some great shots of which he shared an insight of play during the prize giving. Well done Rona for the Eagle and we hope Emma has got over the shock from that lovely final tee shot! That’s what it’s all about!
Fraser Brown joined us back for event 5 and smashed his 2nd go at Level 1 to win Lowest Junior Score (U18)! We saw a very proud Dad who played alongside him.
Joining us for his first event and playing alongside his daughter at this event, the Lowest Adult Score was Michael Keicher who shot 31 (-5 under par) for the win.
Congratulations to Jason Caruana who made the green from 75 yards and was 8ft from the hole. This landed him the win for Closest to the Pin! Shout out also to Jason who has stuck at it over the last 5 events and today shot 34 (-2 under) to progress to Level 4!
Greg McDonald, Matthew Campbell, Jason Caruana & Ken Wong were awarded the Lowest Team Score with an average of 34.75!
Thank you to everyone who played! Don’t forget that each time you play, you will be awarded Order of Merit points based on your place on the leaderboard. At the end of the season we will tally up all the points and we will have a prize pot of around £360.
