What a field for Event 4 of Play 9 - Score 36! Our first Play 9 - Score 36: Sponsored by Caley Golf.

Thank you for making it a sold out event, we had a full field of 36 players and a whopping 17 of them were new Play-9ers! Congratulations to the 16 individuals who achieved par 36 or better and have advanced to the next level. We hope to see you at Event 5.

Coaches Alan Watt, Aran Sinclair, Thomas Bell and Mike McNally were out on the course this morning providing some coaching & support for players. 

A big thank you to Coach Alan Watt and the Swanston Greens team who have created more permanent distance markers for us to use.

Stuart Kirchin smashed his 1st go at Level 5 today, playing from the tee box, and scored Par. Stuart is the first junior to complete Level 5. Stuart is now 1 of 3 others who have progressed to the main course when we’re up and running with Level 6! Not only did Stuart accomplish this, he did it in style picking up the Lowest Junior Score (U18)! Well done Stuart! 

A first for us today! It was a 4 way tie for the Lowest Adult Score. Congratulations to Helen Heaney, Mark Doig, Nattapong Banterng & Josh Havens. They all shot 31 (-5 under par) for the win.

It was a beautiful shot on the 9th hole for Siobhan Aspinwall. Her tee shot landed 3ft from the hole making her the Closest to the Pin! 

Mark Doig, Gregor Mccrum, Calum MacDonald & Dale Adams picked up the Lowest Team Score with an average of 34.

A reminder that at each event you will be awarded Order of Merit points which we will tally up at the end of the season and award the top spot. Every game counts!! 

A reminder that no experience is needed to join us – the beauty of this event is you don’t need a membership to get out on the course to try golf. You don’t even need a golf club, we can provide those too! You start close to the hole and move back as you improve.

Simple. All you need to do is have fun!
