Event 9 of Play 9 - Score 36: Sponsored by Caley Golf was a popular one! We sold out a week in advance and we had a waitlist! Thank you to everyone who joins us and makes for an enjoyable start to a Saturday morning.

Thank you to the 36 players who joined us for the penultimate event. 12 of those were new Play-9ers, we now have over 100 members of the Play 9 community!
11 players shot par or better and will take on the next level, if they have secured a spot for our season finale on Saturday 13th September.
Thomas Bell, Alan Watt and Mike McNally were out on the course providing some coaching and support.
That’s correct, Play 9 history was made!
Jason Caruana shot a hole in one on the 4th hole. He scored 31 (-5 under par) to win Lowest Individual Score. What an achievement!
Congratulations to Oscar Shields who played in his first event and scored 34 (-2 under par). Oscar took the prize for Lowest Junior Score (U18)!
Grace McDonald won the Closest to the Pin competition on the 9th hole.
A great team effort from Richard Hook, Stuart Cluley, Gregor Mccrum & Michael Babych who scored an average of 35.25 and were awarded the Lowest Team Score.
Consistency Award
The winner of the Consistency Award was Richard Hook
Richard has played in 11 Play 9 events to date. He has committed his time not only to the events, but to his practice and coaching. Richard has been a great support in welcoming new players who attend the event and supporting them on the course. Richard was awarded a £100 Autoluxe+ Edinburgh voucher.
Most Improved Player
Congratulations to Jason Caruana who received the prize for Most Improved Player. Comparing the scores for anyone who played in Event 8 with their latest score, Jason came top of the chart with a 9 shot difference! Very impressive!
Jason is the lucky winner of a fantastic £100 voucher for a TPI Assessment. We know Jason will make great use of a session with Andy Watson, TPI-Certified Golf Fitness Coach .
